As this is my last week in preparing curry as my main dish, I have decided that I would make my own recipe this week. I feel pretty confident preparing curry now because I have had a lot of exposure to it these past weeks. I think that I will be able to prepare this dish without any problems or difficulties as every week I have prepared this dish I have become more experienced and more comfortable when cooking it. My family have said that they love the taste of the curries that I had prepared over the past weeks and they were being completely honest also, so that means that my cooking must be pretty good considering my family are usually pretty brutal and straight up with me( going off of past experiences).
- 1 cup butter, divided
- 1 onion, minced
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 3 cups heavy cream
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 1/2 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized chunks
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons tandoori masala
